Powerlifting Program
What is Powerlifting?
First thing you should know about powerlifting is that it’s super fun, you will get stronger and feel badass.
Second thing is that it’s never too late to start and the earlier you start lifting heavy things the better!
Third thing is that powerlifting consists of deadlifts, squats and bench press. The goal is to find the max weight you can lift of those three lifts.
Powerlifting is a competitive sport where you determine your 1-rep max in a contest against other people in a similar category as you (age, weight class, etc). Fun!
Powerlifting at Paramount
We recommend that you have the ability to lift two to three times a week with heavy weights for max benefits. That can be at Paramount, your home or office gym. Semi-private sessions at Paramount include coaching to improve your form and technique. You’ll also get customized exercises to enhance your strength program. You’ll also get a chance to warm-up with some conditioning to improve your chances to surviving a zombie apocalypse.
