Megan’s Philosophy
“Safety first. I’ve experienced a handful of personal trainers over the years, so I know how important it is to build a strong foundation to prevent injuries. That’s why it’s important for me to keep learning and finding new strategies to help me customize workouts to help you achieve your goals in a safer, more effective way.”
Megan’s Story
Megan’s been an athlete from the start. Her father was a college basketball player. Her mother was a three-sport college athlete, and as a result, Megan also spent a good chunk of her childhood playing basketball on a homemade court and swimming laps in the family pool. In addition, she played soccer, ran track, and played basketball uber-competitively for her high school and AAU teams.
After a decade in the healthcare consulting world, Megan chose to focus her life on helping others get—and stay—fit. In 2013, she received her personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
Megan completed the 2010 Chicago Marathon, the 2011 Chicago Triathlon, a various other adventure races around the country.
